Take Good Care of Your Money Area

No matter which feng shui bagua school you want to work with (this short video tells you about the two feng shui bagua styles); focus your efforts on your money area and take good care of its energy. This means the overall decor in your money area has the appropriate feng shui colors, items, shapes and images, all expressing the Wood and the Water feng shui elements. A bit of Fire feng shui element decor is always good and serves as an energizing factor.

Once you define your feng shui money area, you might be upset to find out that your money area is in a challenging area such as the bathroom, for example, or in the garage, closet or laundry room. Rest assured that you can always make the best of it, and I have plenty of resources to help you out with good feng shui decor for your money area. Here are just a few tips to begin with:

The feng shui element of your wealth & money area is Wood, and you know that Wood is strengthened by Water (which nourishes the Wood) and by Earth (which gives the Wood a firm foundation to grow).

This is all based on the interplay of five feng shui elements - one of the basic principles of feng shui. (It is also just plain common sense if you visualize the feng shui elements as specific items in the world around you!)

You want the decor of your home or office money area to express these elements, and here are 8 specific steps to help you. Bring the Wood, Water and Earth feng shui elements into your Money area decor with:

1. Healthy, lush green plants, such as:

• A money plant

• A feng shui lucky bamboo

• An air purifying plant

or any other vibrant plant that will thrive in the lighting conditions of the area.

3. Emphasize specific shapes in your money area decor. Each feng shui element is expressed in specific shapes, so you can bring the desired energy with shapes such as:

• Rectangular (Wood element)

• Square (Earth element)

• Wavy (Water element)

Be it in the shape of picture frames, fabric patterns or the wallpaper design, these shapes will bring the right energy to your money area.

4. Images of forests, parks or vibrant green leaves, trees, grass, etc will bring the feng shui energy of the Wood element. You can also bring images of natural landscapes with interesting land formations - from sandy beaches to mountains and canyons (to represent the Earth element).
